Product details
Roller-applied epoxy floor coating, EPOXY COATING SERIES-5, is a solvent-based two-part epoxy for dust-proofing floors, sealing pores and giving a durable finish with good chemical and moisture resistance. It can be used on many surfaces such as steel, machinery and concrete; prime the concrete before the topcoat for a glossy finish.
Key features: excellent adhesion to both old and new floors, high gloss, good penetration, crack coverage, chemical and abrasion resistance, easy application by roller, brush or spray, and easy maintenance.

Surface preparation & application
Surface preparation
- The concrete must be dry, sound and clean — free of dust, oil and grease
- New concrete must be at least 28 days old before coating
- On steel, remove rust and loose material with a wire brush, grinding disc or sandblasting
- For greasy surfaces, wash with a degreaser then prime immediately to prevent rust
Application method
- Pour the Hardener (B) into the container of part (A)
- Stir with a low-speed drill and mixing paddle for at least 1 minute until fully combined
- Roll the Epoxy Coating onto the prepared floor with a roller or brush
- Tools: paint roller, mixing tray, steel trowel, floor grinder
Suitable surfaces & precautions
Suitable surfaces
- Fully dry concrete with no rising damp from below
- Heavy-use areas such as warehouses, factories and indoor car parks
- Steel surfaces and machinery needing extra durability
Precautions
- Do not use outdoors (sunlight causes yellowing/degradation)
- Do not apply over high-moisture floors (causes blistering/peeling)
- Mix the two parts in the correct ratio and use within the pot life (60 minutes)
- Wear protective equipment, work in a ventilated area and keep away from heat
Storage: 12-month shelf life in a sealed container, kept in the shade and dry · Chemical resistance: 10% hydrochloric acid, 25% sulfuric acid, 5% acetic acid, 10% citric acid, fuel and oils
